Drag to pan, scroll to zoom, double-click to zoom in. Arrow keys pan, + and − zoom, 0 resets. Switching bands re-colours the same patch of sky rather than replacing it, so you can blink between filters the way you would with real multiband imaging.
About this field
One tile of the roughly 5,000 square degree wide survey. Chosen for low Galactic dust and overlap with existing deep optical imaging, it is the workhorse dataset for weak lensing and galaxy clustering cosmology.
Product status
A pre-flight simulation product. Generated on the ground to build and test the calibration pipeline before launch — useful for developing analysis code, but it is synthetic, not sky.

Band
Very wide band for maximum depth — the microlensing workhorse.
Access
Roman products are distributed through MAST at STScI. Files follow the naming convention below; nothing is downloadable from this site.

All products in this field →The image above is procedurally generated. Source positions, colours and crowding are derived from the field's galactic latitude and character and from the band's pivot wavelength, and every exposure of a field draws the same sky so dithers line up — but none of it is data from the telescope.
