ELAIS-N1 (northern field)

Dark energy, via Type Ia supernovae

What this is

A long-studied extragalactic field at high northern ecliptic latitude, giving Roman near-continuous visibility.

Two fields revisited every few days to catch supernovae rising and fading, with prism spectroscopy to classify them. Target: ~25,000 Type Ia below redshift 2.

No survey products yet. Products for ELAIS-N1 (northern field) will list here as MAST publishes them.
